Bratislava based gallery Transit would like to invite you to our event Susedenie na Šanci (#1) on 28th June from 6 pm till 8.30 pm in tranzit_sk in Beskydská 12, as part of exhibition ‘Start and Finish’, which you can see here until middle of July.

Based on your reflection of Nomadic Arts Festival 2016 and the interests shown in the last meeting in May, we would like to continue investigation to create future activities and strengthen relations in the neighbourhood.

At the upcoming event we will particularly carry the conversation from the first event forth and speak about the following topics:

-Who and how can have an impact on the future of the neighbourhood?
-In what way can we further support the connections in the neighbourhood? (Small or big events? What can be done in the realm of the everyday...?)
-How are the neighbourhood’s needs and activities related to the work of the local municipality and strategic planning?

On the previous meeting, we also identified that the state of environment in Šancová street (noise, smog, lack of safety for pedestrians…) is one of the key issues. Responding to the input by Damas Gruska, we would like to speak also about a common action, that would help bring attention of public and local politicians to the cause.

We hope you can join the debate on the 28th June evening. As always, we will have some locally sourced refreshments. There will be enough for you and your neighbours - don’t hesitate to invite them over ;)
